RHEMN Volunteers moved to contain Cholera epidemic in Kagarawal community, Gombe Northeast Nigeria. The outbreak was reported on Tuesday September 25 and at today about 44 patients has been treated and discharged, 1 dead and 2 still in isolation for observation.

In the last 2 months Cholera epidemic has been reported in Deba LGA of Gombe State.

RHEMN had deployed Volunteers to provide basic care, mass community education, contact tracing and house-to-house fumigation to curtail further spread.

RHEMN and Gombe state epidemiology team also embarked on households fumigation of all affected communities within Kagarawal
