Rural Health Mission Nigeria organized a day event across 3 communities including; Bolari, Gabukka and London maidorowa in Gombe metropolis where its distributes over hundred pieces of treated nets, drugs and free screening for beneficiaries to commemorate the world malaria day.

During the event, health lectures were also given on malaria prevention and control. emphasis were given on environmental sanitation to prevent breathing space for mosquitoes. Dangers of malaria infection to pregnant women and under-five year children was also emphasized to mothers and pregnant women present at the event.

The event records a massive turnout at all three locations visited as RHEMN volunteer team worked assiduously to overcome the population.

 

Rural Health Mission Nigeria is a registered nonprofit organization that focuses on providing sustainable access to essential healthcare service to women and children in hard-to-reach and under-served communities.

This annual report covers the period from January, 2017 and December, 2017. The activities include medical outreach, humanitarian support, strengthening of local health facilities through provision of essential ANC drugs, ITNs, antimalarials, antiworms, immunization support etc. other activities include; training of community health workers on basic lifesaving skills, creating of public health awareness, school health services etc.
